- if the presence of smoke is detected, the detector will start to beep loudly and at the same time the red LED will flash. For security reasons, the alarm cannot be silenced or turned off. It will remain active until the air clears again.

Where to place it:
- in terms of safety, it is clearly best to install it in every room in the house. You never know where a fire will start, and the more detectors you have, the faster you will find out about it. However, avoid the kitchen, bathroom and garage - water vapour, cooking fumes or exhaust fumes can trigger false alarms. If the situation does not allow you to equip the whole household with detectors, get at least one for each floor and place it in a place where the alarm will wake you up even from a deep sleep (for example, in the hallway in front of the bedroom).
