Crystal clear epoxy CER for artists, modellers, watering LEDs, for manufacturing optical elements

This clear epoxy rigid epoxy system is specifically designed for use in the manufacture of decorative applications including casting. Especially suitable for artists, modellers, designers, watering LEDs, for the production of optical elements. The material is totally clear, stabilized against UV rays and therefore does not yellow and provides excellent optical properties with little or no cure when cured.

Optimal mechanical properties will be achieved after 21 days at 20 oC or 15 hours at 60 oC.

The casting resin can be dyed and tinted.
Problems and their elimination

    The resin is crystallized or cloudy: the cause is storage below 10 ° C. This problem is eliminated by placing the container in medium warm water or on a radiator and mixing until the contents clear. Then, the resin can normally be used as described below
    uncured for 24 to 48 hours: due to faulty mixing ratio or low temperature
    the mixture is too hot: the cause is a high component temperature or a large amount of mixture
    air bubbles in the mixture: the mixture was stirred too fast and there was no time to release air
    sticky, greasy surface: too high in the workplace

Packaging and storage

    Shelf life is one year in a closed container. Store at normal temperature. the temperature should be between 18 and 25 ° C and humidity below 70%.
