The product is used to prevent the growth of algae, which are able to reclaim chlorine within a few days. It is effective against algae and mold, and to a lesser extent against bacteria. It has preventative and destructive effects, destroys most common algae found in pools, has bacteriostatic effects against some pathogenic bacterial strains, and is compatible with both chlorine and chlorine agents used to disinfect water. Algae spores are constantly brought to the pool through dust, wind and rain. They are rapidly evolving with sunlight and warm water. When the algae are already visible, millions of them have been developed in each liter of water. The bottom and the pool walls are slippery, soothing and water smells.

Dosage:

- Initial dose: 30 ml per 1 m3 (1000 l) of water (used after the first filling of the pool)
- Maintenance dose: 10 ml per 1 m3 (1000 l) of water (applied once in 5 to 8 days)
- The product is dosed into the pool with the filter device switched on
- 1 tablespoon is about 15 ml of product
