The PM-MMA-260S welding inverter is a welder whose construction is based on high-performance IGBT transistors. It is equipped with an LCD display showing the current welding current set with continuous control. Designed only for rutile electrodes from 1.6 mm to 4.0 mm. The IGBT transistor combines the advantages of two types of transistors, easy regulation of field effect transistors and high fault voltage, as well as the switching speed of bipolar transistors. Welding with a 1.6 mm electrode is already possible with a slow-blow fuse of class 16A. Operation at a maximum current of 260A requires at least 20A protection.

HOT START, commonly known as hot start, allows the welding current to be increased above the value set by the welder. The HOT START function works when the arc is ignited and serves to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material. This is a great help in igniting the electrode.

ANTI STICK reduces the welding voltage and current in the event of a short circuit of the electrode with the welded material. ANTI STICK makes it easier for the welder to disconnect the electrode.

ARC FORCE stabilizes the arc regardless of its length. Regulation of welding arc dynamics. Decreasing the function value provides a soft arc and less penetration depth, while increasing the function value causes deeper penetration and the possibility of short arc welding. At the highest value of the ARC FORCE function, it is possible to “push the electrode into the molten metal and boil the material (in this model, the ARC FORCE function is automatically set).

The welder is equipped with a cooling fan for electronic circuits and other components - the "Turbo FAN" function, as well as a thermal sensor that protects the device from overheating.

Current from 20 to 260 A, allows welding with a rutile electrode with a diameter of 1.6 to 4.0 mm. The weight of the welder, including cables, is only 5.5 kg, which makes it very practical and easily portable. It also has a carrying strap that makes it easier to work at heights.

Welding with a 1.6 mm electrode is possible on 16A fuses. Operation at a maximum current of 260A requires protection of at least 20A.

The welder has a standard EURO copper welding connection. Using the EURO standard, you can easily choose additional replacement welding cables.
