Wi-Fi heating detector
When your bathroom or kitchen is suddenly flooded with water, it's always uncomfortable. Whether it's a washing machine malfunction, a retired siphon in your sink, or a problem with draining the dishwasher, it's simply a mess. However, with the Hütermann Wi-Fi heating detector, you can avoid these inconveniences with a bend. This is a practical device that can detect an unwanted water leak in time and notify you immediately (in the form of a mobile notification). You can immediately intervene and avoid unnecessary heating of your own apartment, or God forbid the neighbors below you.

How does it work
First of all, the Hütermann heating detector must be mounted on the wall (screws and dowels are included in the package). Then download a compatible application (Tuya Smart or Smart Life - Smart Living) to your smartphone and use it to connect the detector to your home Wi-Fi network (the device operates in the 2.4 GHz wireless band). The device then monitors via gold-plated contacts on the underside to see if water appears in its vicinity. And if so, it will start beeping intermittently, connect to the Internet, and immediately send you a cell phone alert. So you will learn about sudden heating, even when you are not at home.

The application with which the detector communicates is in Czech. You can download it from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS).

It also detects water in inaccessible places
You will also receive a special probe free of charge with the main detector, which will extend the range of the device to very inaccessible places. It is a smaller sensor (30 × 5 mm), which you can easily place under the washing machine, dishwasher and kitchen sink. This probe must be connected to the main detector using the enclosed cable (length 120 cm).

Set what happens
In addition to sending a notification to your mobile phone in the event of heating, you can also set up other automatic processes for it. The device can be paired with a number of other Wi-Fi devices. Among other things, with a siren, which then triggers an acoustic alarm when water is detected. Or with a smart socket, which in turn activates any connected device at the initiative of the heating detector (eg it lights up a warning light or, for example, switches on the pump).

Battery with five years life
The Hütermann Wi-Fi heating detector does not require an electrical connection. It works on one CR2 battery, which is immediately available in the basic package. Thanks to it, the device can last reliably serve all year with ten detections per day. If no water is detected, the battery life is up to 5 years.

You can check the current battery status at any time in the smart application.
