Programmable relays Multiplus is equipped with a programmable relay, which is set as an alarm relay by default. The relay can be programmed for various types of other applications such as a generator start relay.
1 AC input and 1 AC output Multiplus is equipped with one AC input (for distribution network or generator) and one AC output. The AC output is equipped with a function that ensures uninterrupted power supply. Multiplus takes over the power supply of the connected appliances in the event of a mains or generator failure. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices will continue to operate without interruption. If the Multiplus operates in island mode, ie without an external source, it takes all the energy from the battery or from the connected solar controller. As soon as we connect an external source (distribution network or generator) to the AC input, then the appliances will be powered from an external source and at the same time Multiplus will charge the battery.
"Search" supervision mode When the "Search" mode is switched on, the no-load power consumption of the inverter is reduced by approx. 70%. In this mode, Multiplus switches off at zero or very low load. It then switches on every two seconds for a short time. If the output current exceeds the set level, the drive will automatically turn on and continue operating.
Four-stage charging with an adaptive charger and two battery charging outputs The main output provides powerful battery charging via an "adaptive charging" system. The software controls the three-stage automatic charging process to suit the battery condition, and adds a fourth charging phase - trickle charging. In addition, the Multi can charge the second battery using an independent charging output designed for example for the starter batteries of the generator.
The PC communication interface MK3-USB is used to set the parameters and to display the current status of the unit.
