This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices will continue to operate without interruption. If the Multiplus operates in island mode, ie without an external source, it takes all the energy from the battery or from the connected solar controller. As soon as we connect an external source (distribution network or generator) to the AC input, then the appliances will be powered from an external source and at the same time Multiplus will charge the battery.
"Search" supervision mode When the "Search" mode is switched on, the no-load power consumption of the inverter is reduced by approx. 70%. In this mode, Multiplus switches off at zero or very low load. It then switches on every two seconds for a short time. If the output current exceeds the set level, the drive will automatically turn on and continue operating.
Four-stage charging with an adaptive charger and two battery charging outputs The main output provides powerful battery charging via an "adaptive charging" system. The software controls the three-stage automatic charging process to suit the battery condition, and adds a fourth charging phase - trickle charging. In addition, the Multi can charge the second battery using an independent charging output designed for example for the starter batteries of the generator.
PowerControl - Solutions for a limited amount of energy from a generator or external source Thanks to the digital control panel of the MultiPlus units, the maximum current of the generator or external source can be set. The Multi device then takes into account other AC appliances and uses any excess to charge, thus preventing the generator or external power supply from being overloaded.
PowerAssist - Increasing the capacity of offshore electricity. connection or generator This PowerControl feature allows MultiPlus Compact units to supplement the power of an alternative source (offshore electrical connection or generator) from the battery. Where peak power is only required for a limited time, it is possible to reduce the size of the generator required with this function or, conversely, to achieve short-term high power from a normally current-limited offshore connection. As the load decreases, the excess power is used to recharge the battery.
Parallel and three-phase operation Up to 6 drives can operate in parallel for higher performance. Operation in a three-phase configuration is also possible. The PC communication interface MK3-USB is used to set the parameters and to display the current status of the unit.
