Description
Description
A comprehensive solution for an island or hybrid solar system. We connect solar panels, battery, appliances, power plant or grid to the unit and we have a professional 1f hybrid/island system. 3000VA/2400 W inverter, 48 V battery, PV max. 4000 Wp.

An all-in-one solar power solution

The Victron EasySolar-II GX integrates the following elements:
- converter / charger Multiplus-II 48V/3000VA/35-32A
- smartSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr solar charge controller
- GX device with 2 x 16 character display
These elements are connected together inside one unit and this greatly simplifies most installations and saves time and money.

Built-in display and Wi-Fi:
- the battery, inverter and solar controller parameters will be displayed on the display
- the same parameters can be accessed using a smartphone or other Wi-Fi enabled device. In addition, the system can also be set up using Wi-Fi

Solar controller:
- The DC output of the solar MPPT controller is connected in parallel with the DC connection of the MultiPlus-II converter/charger
- the mechanism by which the Multiplus-II device is turned on/off is also controlled by the solar MPPT controller

GX device:
The integrated GX device includes:
- VE.Can interface. This can be used to connect to Victron VE.Can devices (eg VE.Can MPPT) or the port can be reconfigured using the remote console for use with a compatible Li-ion battery CAN-bus.
- USB port
- Ethernet port
- VE.Direct port
The GX device controls the MultiPlus-II and the solar MPPT controller with the appropriate VE.Bus and VE.Direct connections and, after connecting to the Internet, provides the connection of the system to the Victron Energy VRM portal.

VRM Portal:
- Victron Energy's free Remote Monitoring (VRM) website will display all your system data in a comprehensive graphical format. System settings can also be changed remotely through the VRM portal. Alarms can be received by email. Try the VRM portal on a DEMO account here: https://vrm.victronenergy.com/landingpage

To connect to the VRM portal, you only need to connect the unit to the Internet

EasySolar's hybrid operation is intended where a distribution network connected to its AC input is permanently available. In this mode, the unit prioritizes power from the PV array and/or battery over grid power. The hybrid function must be adequately set in EasySolar (remotely or using the MK3-USB interface and the VE.Configure 3 program - not included). If the network is present, EasySolar is permanently connected to it, even if it does not need the network immediately (the battery is not discharged and the inverter is not overloaded). A certain minimum amount of energy is constantly taken and/or supplied from the network regardless of the current operating state (small technically measurable flows into the network are present). Even when the distribution network is connected, energy consumption from the photovoltaic field and/or battery for powering AC appliances is preferred. The photovoltaic field generates electrical energy, which is prioritized and directly powered by the 230 V AC appliances via an inverter/charger without the participation of the battery. If the production of the photovoltaic field is higher than the consumption of the appliance, the excess energy is stored in the battery in an adaptive way using the MPPT controller. If the battery is charged, the MPPT controller will automatically dampen the production from the photovoltaic field (or the energy is delivered to the distribution network in a targeted manner, depending on the settings). If the battery is discharged below the preset level, the consumption from the photovoltaic array and the battery is terminated and the AC appliances are fully powered from the distribution network. As soon as the battery is partially charged from the photovoltaic system (by 5-10%), the AC appliances will automatically be powered again from the photovoltaic array and/or battery. As soon as the consumption of the AC consumer is greater than 80-90% of the maximum continuous power of the inverter/charger, the inverter/charger takes the additional energy needed adequately from the grid (GridAssist function) to avoid overloading the inverter. In the event of a blackout, AC appliances are powered and the battery is recharged from the photovoltaic array without interruption (the operation of EasySolar is fully independent of the grid). In the event of a network failure, the battery is discharged to a deeper (defined) level than when the network is present. At the same time, it can only power AC appliances up to its maximum continuous inverter output. If the inverter/charger is switched off due to a dead battery during a mains failure and then the mains is restored, the inverter/charger automatically activates, starts supplying AC appliances and charges the battery from the mains to the minimum preset value. In principle, this is the so-called DC coupling. The system has the option of activating the lead-acid battery protection function against the negative effects of long-term discharge (it prefers to use solar energy to recharge the battery or recharge the battery from the network). Under certain conditions, EasySolar can be combined with a mains converter(s) at the input or outputs (AC coupling).
Standard family houses have a three-phase connection. The individual phases are fed into the main switchboard and selected single-phase consumers or circuits are connected to each phase. EasySolar simply slides onto one selected phase before entering the main switch
