Description
MPPT regulator 20A for all available types of batteries with system voltage 12V or 24V and for PV panels with max. power 260W(12V) or 520W(24V) with max. input voltage 100V and min. input voltage 1V higher than battery charging voltage. It is therefore also suitable for panels with a system voltage of 12V, which generate 16-18V at maximum load. This regulator uses an internal inverter to adjust the V-A characteristic of the current source-solar panel to be optimal for battery charging. It can harness the energy from the solar panels better than a PWM controller that regulates charging only by pulse limiting the direct connection between the solar panel and the battery, where the pulse width is proportional to the state of the battery being charged. In other words, the MPPT controller can generate the ideal voltage and current for charging the battery from a higher voltage and lower current source. For example, 18V and 5A converts to 14.5V/6.2A. The conversion efficiency of the V-A characteristic tends to be above 95%, so losses are minimal and the regulators can usually be adapted to different types of batteries to provide the most optimal charging. The integrated Bluetooth module (Solarlife app) can monitor operating status and parameters in real time.

4 stage charging-only for Pb batteries (CC, CV-boost, CV-float, CV-equalize)
CC = charging with full power of PV panels until the set value of the end of charging (CV-boost)
CV-boost = charging for 1-2 hours after reaching the clamp voltage of 14-15V (adjustable)
CV-equalize = charge with increased voltage to mix liquid electrolyte - only selectable for lead acid batteries with liquid electrolyte
CV-float = charge with a holding voltage of 13.0-14.5V (adjustable), preset 13.7V
Battery type selection: liquid dielectric, AGM, AGM GEL, LiFePO4
LCD display for setting and monitoring operating parameters
Temperature compensation: -4.17mV/K per cell during boost+equal charging
-3.33mV/K per cell during float charging
IP32 protection
RS485 interface
Operating temperature: -25°C~55°C
Rozměry: 136,6x136,6x67mm/0,9kgfe.
Turn on the controller on 12V battery and connect through the app. In Battery param and Advanced settings, change Rated voltage to 24V and select SEND then disconnect the controller and reconnect to 24V. Then it should be OK. Alternatively you can change the Rated Voltage to AUTO again 12 or 24V will be detected automatically.
