Do you not want to pay high fees for an electrical connection at the campsite, or do you need energy anytime and anywhere outside of civilization? Simply use solar energy to charge the on-board battery in your caravan/motorhome.

We offer you an optimally designed 260 Wp solar system for caravans and motorhomes with a 5-year warranty on solar panels and solar controller. This system works with a battery voltage of 12V. This is one of the most frequently sold and used solar systems in our offer.

The solar system includes the following components:
2x Victron Energy 130Wp/12V solar panel (dimensions 1200x668x30mm)
1x Victron Energy SmartSolar 75/15 MPPT solar controller
1x 6mm2 cable set incl. MC4 crimped connectors - length 15 m

This set does not include a battery. If you do not have an on-board battery in your caravan, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL, or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section.

How much energy can this 260Wp solar system produce on average with optimal insolation in the Czech Republic?

We recommend attaching the panels to the roof of your motorhome using a proven 68cm bracket set (not included in the set price). There is also a waterproof grommet for two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive.

The Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30 solar controller ensures completely unattended operation of the system.

NOTE:
The kit includes a 6mm2 cable 15m long, with MC4 connectors pressed on the ends of the cable for connection to the solar panel. The installing electrician will equip the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with ferrules and suitable DC fuses. For batteries, the cable will be terminated with suitable lugs and suitable DC fuses according to the type of battery and installation conditions.

How to choose the right solar system?
We multiply the consumption of individual devices powered by the solar system in Watts by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total need in Wh (watt hours) per day. If this number is lower than the values ​​​​given for each season, the system performance is sufficient, otherwise it is necessary to choose a more powerful system.

Together with the solar system you will receive a detailed manual with a description of the individual components and a wiring diagram.
