Automatically optimized irrigation with soil moisture sensor.

Watering your garden has never been so simple and accurate: the innovative GARDENA soil moisture sensor automatically ensures that your garden is watered as needed and saves water by measuring the current soil moisture and transferring the measured data to your irrigation computer. If the soil is still moist enough, it will skip the next irrigation cycle. Your plants will automatically receive reliable and accurate care, and as an additional bonus you will save water. The sensor is compatible with almost all GARDENA irrigation computers and irrigation controls. Thanks to its compact size, the battery-powered soil moisture sensor can be used not only on lawns or flower beds, but is also suitable for smaller flower pots. So that the sensor does not interfere with lawn care, it has a particularly low height and a straight top: lawnmowers and robotic lawnmowers can easily drive over the sensor. The five-meter connection cable allows for flexible installation and can be extended as needed with an extension cable, which is available as an accessory. To keep an overview of irrigation, you can see the values measured by the sensor on the connected irrigation computer. The low charge level of the two AA batteries (not included) is indicated both on the irrigation computer and on the LED in the battery compartment. The batteries should last about one year in use. In this way, the soil moisture sensor always works reliably, ensures irrigation according to current needs and saves water.
