Starter kit - access control HmIP-SK14
The access control starter kit (HmIP-SK14) from the Homematic IP series will serve as a convenient and safe alternative to manually unlocking, locking and opening the entrance door when you arrive home. The key fob remote control (HmIP-KRCK) in combination with the Door Lock Actuator (HmIP-DLD) is the ideal solution for intelligent unlocking, locking and opening of doors. The remote control serves as a pleasant and contactless alternative to a regular key. To make coming home as comfortable as possible, you can use the additional light button to control the optional lighting in the entrance area.

Central unit (HmIP-HAP)
It works as an access point and offers convenient setup and control of the complex Homematic IP security and smart home system via an Ethernet connection to a standard router and using an intuitive smartphone application (for Android and iOS in CZ localization). The mobile application enables an immediate response to messages and alerts from your smart home system and connects all Homematic IP devices via a free, unlimited cloud, which enables system setup and control from anywhere in the world, transfer of important information and device software and firmware updates, transfers configuration and operational commands from the Homematic IP application towards individual smart home devices.

Voice control via the home assistant is also a matter of course (communication with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa is supported).

System capacity
Up to 15 users, 80 system components, video cameras can be connected to the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) and countless scenarios can be created. By connecting another Central Unit (HmIP-HAP), the system can be expanded by up to 40 additional system components (maximum 120 components and 2 central units per installation).

Wireless Door Lock Actuator (HmIP-DLD)
The intelligent door lock drive designed for convenient, motor-driven unlocking, locking and opening of doors is part of the Homematic IP smart home system.

Easy assembly
Wireless communication and battery operation offer the possibility of simple installation without the need for cabling. An important factor for installation is the size of the cylinder insert, which must protrude 8-15 mm on the inside of the door. If this is not the case, we recommend purchasing a new cylinder liner with an optimal offset of 10 mm at the same time as the device. Standard assembly is carried out using the assembly material that is included in the package, without any mechanical intervention in the door. The design of the mounting bracket of the Door Lock Actuator (HmIP-DLD) also offers additional holes for optional fastening with screws to the internal hardware or the door leaf.

Control and operation
The device offers multiple optional control options for all age categories from children to seniors. The door lock drive can be easily controlled manually from the outside with a key and from the inside with the emergency rotary ring.

Access control
The user can individually define and simultaneously control entrance access thanks to adjustable access rights, regardless of the day of the week or the time. An example could be a cleaning staff or a care service that will be able to enter the apartment or house with the help of a wireless remote control - key fob (HmIP-KRCK) only on a certain day of the week and at a certain time. In addition, the individual states are written to a log file in the application for later possible access control.

Power supply
3 pieces of replaceable AA-type power batteries allow operation with low maintenance requirements and ensure the operation of the device for up to 6 months (in the case of lithium power batteries, the operation time can be several times longer depending on the frequency of use of the device). As soon as the capacity of the power batteries is reduced to a minimum, the Homematic IP application informs the user about this.

Wireless Remote control (key fob) - access (HmIP-KRCK)
An elegant wireless key fob from the Homematic IP series, enabling simple control of the wireless intelligent door lock drive (HmIP-DLD) at the push of a button. The practical little controller fits in every pocket and despite its compact dimensions with four buttons can provide a number of useful functions. With three buttons of the wireless key fob with fixed functions, the user can simply unlock, lock or open the door, while the fourth button is freely programmable and can control other smart home devices of the Homematic IP system, or activate a pre-configured operation by the user (e.g. turning on or turning off the light).

Homematic IP smart mobile application
Once the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) pconnected to the Internet, all functions can be used via the free Homematic IP app for smart devices available for the Android and iOS operating systems. The intuitive application in the Czech localization is regularly updated and expanded with additional functions and devices, it offers a clear overview of all possible functions and scenarios. The Homematic IP mobile application enables the control of several Central Units (HmIP-HAP) in various installations (e.g. for holiday homes, apartment rentals, etc.).

Smart home voice control
A large number of Homematic IP devices and system functions offer convenient voice control using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Communication and security
The central unit (HmIP-HAP) is connected to a standard router with an Ethernet cable (RJ-45) and serves as an interface between the Homematic IP cloud located exclusively on servers in Germany and the Homematic IP devices in your home.

For safe, stable and reliable communication, the system between individual devices has its own unique radio technology on the operating frequency of 868.0 - 869.525 MHz with fully encrypted AES-128 communication. Operation on this frequency limits wireless transmission to 1% of the time per hour, thereby ensuring a long battery life of connected devices and users are not exposed to permanent wireless radiation. In addition, the central unit (HmIP-HAP) reliably detects radio interference.

The security of the wireless IP protocol has been tested by the independent Techniker-Verband VDE test laboratory in Germany and the AV-TEST test institute.

Homematic IP wireless technology enables communication with components up to a distance of 400 m in an open space or across several floors of a high-rise building, enabling reliable connection of devices even in remote locations. And if the range needs to be increased, it is sufficient to supplement the system locally with a Switched socket (HmIP-PSM-PE) also functioning as a signal repeater or with another Central Unit (HmIP-HAP).

Privacy Protection
No personal data is collected during activation or during operation, so users remain completely anonymous, despite the fact that the system is based on a cloud solution.
