This Nedis Smart Zigbee Gas Detector is a mains powered detector that will increase your safety. The high sensitivity of the sensor makes it possible to detect a minimum amount of natural gas (methane) and ensures that in case of increased gas concentration you will be warned in time by an alarm with a volume of 85 dB. In addition, you will receive notifications on your phone wherever you are. This requires a Nedis Zigbee gateway (WIFIZBxxx) and the free Nedis SmartLife app.
The result is protection and a sense of security for you and your family when you are at home. The location of the gas detector is important because certain types of gases rise to the top while others stick to the ground. Always place the gas detector close to a source, such as a central heating boiler, stove or gas cylinders.
The detector includes a test button for regular checks, a mute button to silence the alarm for 5 minutes when the situation is under control, and as soon as the end of life is approaching (after about 5 years), you will be notified both visually using the LED indicators on the detector and in application.
The detector is mains powered and has a plug-in solution, so you can easily place it near any potential gas source or leak, such as the garage or kitchen.
Important: This product contains highly sensitive components. Always store or use the product in a working environment at a temperature between −10 and 40 °C.
