Sand filtration ProStar Plus 6, made in the Czech Republic, is suitable for pools up to 30 m3. It is therefore an ideal accessory for large swimming pools. The ProStar Plus 6 sand filtration was in principle inspired by nature - here, too, rainwater changes into crystal clear spring water thanks to filtration in permeable rock layers. In sand filtration, the water passes through silica sand, where even fine impurities are captured and only clean, filtered water returns to the pool. It is therefore important to rinse the filter sand frequently so that impurities do not settle in the sand. We recommend rinsing the filtration at least once a week. The ProStar Plus 6 sand filtration system consists of a filter vessel that can hold 18 kg of filter sand. The container is made of high quality polypropylene (PP). It is seamless, resistant to corrosion and commonly available chemicals used in swimming pools. In addition to an attractive modern design, it will also please with its compact dimensions, a practically built-in pump with a screen of coarse dirt directly in the body of the container. The six-way valve offers, among other things, a lightened position for winter shutdown. The filtration is also equipped with a start timer.
