Wi-Fi wireless Tenda AP5 supports 802.11b / g / n 2.4 GHz, which allows you to configure the two antennas communication speeds up to 300 Mb / s. Tenda AP5 contains a Broadcom chipset, which features high transfer speed and real stability. The new chipset also brings "Green Wi-Fi mode" that dynamically off-chip components, thereby reducing active power consumption. Tenda AP5 includes a "Quick Setup" you simple and quick setup in a few steps. Thanks to the manual in Czech / Slovak and Polish language you install and configure your new Wi-Fi AP / Extender takes only a few minutes.

Tenda AP5 supports many types of security, the strongest WPA2-PSK, the ability to disable broadcast the name of your wireless network (SSID), MAC address filtering, VPN, VLAN for each SSID, up to 8x different SSIDs with different zabepečením, power settings, and more superior networking capabilities. Tenda AP5 provides five operating modes:

- Access Point - Access Point - in this mode is AP5 connected to the network via Ethernet cable and broadcast your wireless network. Because it contains 2 LAN ports also functions as a switch - Switch, and you can also connect other devices via Ethernet cable.

- Extension of the WiFi signal - Universal Repeater / Universal Range Extender - in this mode you select, to which WiFi network has AP5 connect and extend your signal where it is already weak or fluctuates. WiFi remains the same name, password security, and also reach to dramatically increase. Thus it allows you to interconnect two or more AP / Extender and increase the wireless range even in distant places.

- WISP - using this mode AP5 connects to a WiFi network, for example. Internet service providers, network providers separated from your network by using routing, and creates your home WiFi network with its own DHCP server.

- Client + AP - This mode is very similar fashion Universal Repeater / Extender, however, in this mode you can also set your own WiFi network, security, password, etc. AP5 is connected to the first WiFi network, and create a second WiFi network, both networks and devices communicate with each other directly in a LAN network.

- Station - AP5 connects to the WiFi network and provides connectivity for two LAN ports which contains connector for two devices via cable. Other Wi-Fi network is not broadcasting anymore.
