A very interesting change is the use of rechargeable Li-ion 18650 batteries with a voltage on the 3.7V cell. The photo trap lasts longer on site compared to conventional, very expensive AA-size lithium batteries.
If you use a solar panel, it will charge the directly inserted 18650 li-ion battery. The solar panel is connected to the photo trap via a microUSB connector.
CAUTION: The solar panel works best in southern locations. Sunny weather is required in order for the inserted li-ion batteries to be recharged to full capacity. (panel not included)
The photo trap can be used as a security camera to monitor real estate, cars, gardens and other things. The biggest advantage is the very fast sending of records thanks to the 4G modem, including video in the best possible quality.
