This model is also equipped with a variable speed gear for setting the travel speed. You will appreciate this feature when the grass grows too tall or if you prefer mowing at a slower or faster walking speed. You can choose from 4 speeds. Changing the travel speed has no effect on the rotating speed of the blade. The lawnmower is powered by the proven Briggs & Stratton 500 Series engine. The mowing height is set centrally using a single lever. You can also take advantage of the 4-in-1 system that, apart from just grass collection and mulching, will allow you to also lay the clippings behind the mower or to eject them to the side. The front safety frame also serves as a handle that can be used to hold the lawnmower when cleaning it. The wheels are mounted on ball bearings. The recommended mowing area is 1,400 m2.
