Description
The UT18B PRO 1000 V True RMS digital multimeter is a highly reliable, safe and durable multimeter that measures true RMS values, also intended for measurement in CAT II 1000 V / CAT III 600 V distribution equipment. The UT18B PRO True RMS digital multimeter can accurately measure imperfect, non-linear AC voltage waves, such as those produced by voltage converters, and thanks to the built-in VFC mode, this meter can remove the interfering voltage signal, resulting in a more accurate voltage reading.
The ranges of the UT18B PRO device can be switched automatically or manually. The maximum displayable value of the LCD display is 6200. The fast analog-to-digital converter (ADC) measures up to 3 times per second.
The UT18B PRO measuring instrument enables the measurement of AC/DC voltages and currents, resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle and temperature. Can also be used in an environment with an electric field of up to 1V/m.
The μA and mA current range is protected by a fast-acting fuse FF440 mA / H 1000 V, ø10 x 38mm CE with a breaking capacity of 20kA, and a current range of 10A is protected by a fast-acting fuse FF11A / H 1000V ø10 x 38mm CE with a breaking capacity of 20kA. The voltage inputs are protected against voltage peaks greater than 1000V.
Compared to the UT17B PRO multimeter, the UT18B PRO differs by a different design of test cables, a larger frequency measurement range (up to 1MHz) and capacitance (up to 6mF) and also allows you to measure most different types of LEDs with a voltage of up to 12V.
The built-in LED flashlight on the back of the device and automatic backlighting of the display allow users to easily solve problems with electrical equipment even in a dark environment.
It is powered by two pieces of AA R6 1.5V pencil batteries and the device automatically switches off after 15 minutes of inactivity.
