The Basetech pass-through detects a person's entry into the shop. It also serves to deter unwanted visitors in the house or garage. The PIR sensor built into the motion detector responds to temperature changes in the detection range. The sensor then sends a radio signal to the transmitter unit. The unit emits an audible signal (5 melodies, 4 levels of volume), light signaling via 2 LEDs. Operation of the sensor and transmitter unit on the battery. The transmitter unit can also be powered by an external power supply (not supplied, to be ordered separately).
