The solar scarecrow emits 400 +/- 100 Hz sound waves every 30 seconds in all directions, covering approximately 650-800 m2. These sound waves repel all rodents which force them to leave the coverage area. We recommend using at least 2 devices in heavily affected areas. This device is for outdoor use only. Solar energy is transferred through solar cells and stored in Ni-Mh batteries.
