Description
Build the WAZ 2101 for export, sold under the Lada brand (Lada), was the carmaker's first model at the Togliatti plant. Its production began on April 19, 1970. The Lada 2101 is a licensed version of the Italian Fiat 124 produced between 1966 and 1972. Prior to series production, approximately 800 changes and modernizations were made to adapt the structure to road conditions in the Soviet Union.
