The corundum grinding stone is placed in a bamboo block with a tailor-made cutout. The package also includes a ceramic trowel for leveling and smoothing the stone surface after grinding, there is also a practical and handy guide with a set grinding angle (15 °) or a balloon for dosing water or oil for grinding. Corundum with a hardness of 9 is the second hardest mineral on the Mohs hardness scale. Synthetic corundum is obtained by remelting alumina and, thanks to its extreme hardness, is used in grinding on abrasive materials and wheels. With the exception of diamond, it can grind all other minerals. Corundum grinding stone made of synthetic corundum is highly durable and high quality.

Grinding with grinding stone:

- Immerse the grindstone in water before use
- Attach the knife to the guide with the back of the blade
- Move the blades of the knife or other ground tool in a smooth motion with gentle pressure on the stone

- Repeats a smooth movement to improve any inequalities
