Description
Organic (natural) preparation for the treatment of vines, strawberries, raspberries and certain vegetables against gray mold or sclerotinium rot.
Active substance: Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain MBI 600; 5.5 x 1010 CFU / g
How does it work?
Serifel is a biological fungicidal spray preparation, the active organism of which disrupts fungal fibers after contact with a pathogen. The active organism according to the mode of action belongs to the group F6 (FRAC) of microbial disruptors of the cell membranes of the pathogen. Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain MBI 600 has a strong fungicidal effect because it naturally produces the lipopeptide metabolites surfactin and iturin, and also has an antibacterial effect due to the production of various antibiotics. In addition, the active organism elicits a systemic plant defense response, indicated by increased production of the peroxidase enzyme, which plays a role in strengthening plant defenses against pathogens.
For what plants and diseases is it registered?
- vine (gray mold)
- strawberry (gray mold, sclerotinia rot)
- raspberry (gray mold)
- salad (gray mold, sclerotinia rot)
- tomato and pepper (gray mold, sclerotine rot)
How to use it?
- vine - by spraying from the end of flowering to the stage of ripe berries, max. 10 times a year, interval between sprays 7 days, only 3 days OL
- salad - by spraying from the stage of development of the first leaves to the harvest, max. 6 times a year, interval between sprays 5 days, only 1 day OL
- tomato, paprika - by spraying the beginning of bud formation (before flowering) to the stage of final maturity, max. 5 times a year, interval between sprays 5 days, only 1 day OL
- strawberry, raspberry - by spraying from the beginning of inflorescence development (before flowering) to the stage of final maturity, max. 6 times a year, interval between sprays 5 days, only 1 day OL
- stop spraying with complete wetting, at the latest at the beginning of the application liquid drops from the surface of the leaf
- the product must not affect the surrounding vegetation (for which this product is not registered)
The product achieves average efficacy. The efficiency may vary depending on the site conditions, especially humidity and temperature. Apply at temperatures above 15 ° C and high humidity. Effectiveness depends on spray quality (homogeneous coverage of whole plants). Treat with a sufficient amount of spray at the lower limit of the permitted dose. For bacteria to be effective, they must cover the entire treated area before being attacked by pathogens. Apply preventively.
