Description
The iGET SECURITY M3P19 Wireless Carbon Detector, which works independently or as an accessory for iGET SECURITY M3 and iGET SECURITY M4. It is used to detect dangerous and toxic carbon monoxide (a colorless gas odorless, not detectable by human senses). This gas is generated by imperfect combustion of fuels such as wood, charcoal, coal, natural gas, propane, paraffin, fuel oil, butane, kerosene, gasoline etc. iGET SECURITY M3P19 has fault detection, test button, power 2x AA batteries . Low power consumption.
Properties:
- The detector is designed for all rooms where carbon monoxide monitoring is required
- When the CO detects, the warning diode will blink red and the detector siren
- Detection method: highly sensitive electrochemical sensor (at least 40 ppm)
- Contains a test button to check functionality
- Error / fault detection, an orange LED will illuminate
- Low battery indication, the yellow LED lights up
- Internal alarm siren volume: 85 dB at 3 meters from the detector
- It is also possible to wirelessly connect the detector with the iGET SECURITY M3 and iGET SECURITY M3 alarms to provide comprehensive protection. The alarm will also trigger the siren upon receipt of the alarm signal and send an SMS about this
- The detector operates at a frequency of 433.29 MHz, thanks to which it can be used with many alarms of other brands that operate at the same frequency
- Power supply: 2x 3 V batteries, type AA (included)
- Low power consumption
Using the detector what is carbon monoxide gas and why is it so dangerous?
Carbon monoxide, labeled with CO, is a very dangerous, colorless and toxic gas. It has no odor and is toxic. In any enclosed space (house, cottage, office, flat, etc.), even a smaller build-up of this gas may be a great danger. Carbon monoxide is produced by the incomplete combustion of fuels such as wood, charcoal, coal, natural gas, propane, paraffin, fuel oil, butane, kerosene, gasoline and tobacco smoke. Improper combustion may occur in all plants burning these raw materials, eg if the appliance is defective, improperly maintained, or when the flue gas is blocked or inadequate ventilation in the room. These include: fireplaces, stoves, smoke ducts, gas boilers, heating, etc.
