The GS883 detector is an autonomous carbon monoxide (CO) detector and a fire detector in one housing with a built-in siren.
The CO sensor of the Japanese manufacturer Figaro is used in the detector with a life span of 10 years (detector lifetime of 10 years after battery on / insertion)

Carbon monoxide detector:
It works on the principle of an electrochemical sensor.

Fire alarm:
It works on the principle of optical detectors, which do not contain radioactive material in comparison with ionizing ones. It reacts to visible fumes (smoke) produced by burning.

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, highly poisonous and odorless gas, lighter than air, non-irritating, poorly soluble in water.
CO is generated by incomplete combustion in gas heaters or solid fuel heaters (boilers, karma, stoves, etc.) \ T
Increased CO concentration in the air is dangerous for humans, it prevents the transfer of oxygen through the blood, causing nausea, dizziness, high concentration to unconsciousness or death.
