Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, largely toxic, tasteless and odorless gas, lighter than air, non-irritating, and poorly soluble in water.
CO arises from incomplete combustion in gas or solid fuel heaters (boilers, karma, stoves, etc.)
Increased concentration of CO in the air is dangerous for humans, prevents the transfer of oxygen by blood, nausea, dizziness, and high concentration to unconsciousness or death.
