The angular homologated LED daytime running lights. The lights are equipped with electronics that automatically lights up when the ignition is switched on and off at low beam of the vehicle. The lights are characterized by their slightly oblique (rounded) structure that geometrically match the contour of the ground plan of most modern cars with a rounded nose.

The use of daytime running lights

In connection with the new legislative conditions governing the operation of motor vehicles and directing daytime-running lights is very timely replacement vehicle lighting designed exclusively for lighting during the day as normal visibility.
The design and location daytime running lights balanced homologation UN / ECE Regulation no. 48, which prescribes Decree no. 341/2002 Coll. and their use is governed by Act no. 361/2000 Coll. on road traffic amended by Act no. 411/2005 Coll. Daytime running lights are characterized by strongly scattered light flux which does not taper as with conventional reflectors. Diffused light of its nature dazzle oncoming drivers or illuminate the road, but adequately guarantees fundamental condition for safe operation "to be seen". The main benefit of these additional lights are energy saving, because their use is not lit parking, dipped or tail lights of the vehicle. Savings will also extend the life of bulbs and lamps, they will feel especially drivers of vehicles with xenon headlamps, although the lamps have a longer life than incandescent bulbs, but their replacement is significantly more expensive. Installation of daytime running lights is rebuilding vehicles or change of technical data, and therefore their location on the vehicle is not subject to any additional approval or registration.

Basic rules for retrofit daytime running lights:

- Per vehicle mounted with two pieces (one pair) lights
- Placed in a horizontal plane at a height from 250 mm to 1500 mm in front of the vehicle
- Distance of the lights from the lateral contour is max. 400 mm between mutually lights min. 600 mm (for vehicles with a width less than 1300 mm is allowed mutual distance 400 mm)
- Lights should come on automatically when the ignition (engine starting) and turn off after shutdown
- When you turn on the side lights have daytime running lights automatically turn off
