Tip: the input material for composting must contain organic substances for the nutrition of microorganisms, such as soil bacteria, fungi, worms or earthworms. The carbon and nitrogen content must thus correspond approximately to a ratio of 30: 1 and the moisture content of the material should be maintained from 50 to 60%. Coarse raw materials should be crushed into small pieces before composting.
