Why use it?

Did you know?

What does it contain?
The GOLD compost accelerator is a mixture of useful microorganisms - bacteria and fungi.

Azotobacter chroococcum: fixes atmospheric nitrogen and supplies very important energy to the decomposition process
Polyangium bacteria: breaks down cellulose (wood chips, sawdust, shavings, small twigs, etc.)
bacteria Bacillus sp. (bacteria): improves compost quality, compost maturity is achieved much faster, supports phosphorus and potassium intake during plant growth
fungus Trichoderma sp .: improves the quality of compost by its effect against harmful fungi, reduces organisms that could cause plant diseases. There is very extensive research and results about the beneficial effects of Trichoderma on soil and plants around the world.

Composting process
At the beginning of the biodegradation process, the composted mass is heated to 60 ° C. The organic nitrogen is converted to a form suitable for plants.
At temperatures of 18 ° C and higher, the accelerator will complete its operation in approximately one month (depending on the humidity of the compost, the ambient temperature, the composition of the organic matter, etc.).
When the weight of the compost is reduced by 50%, it is loose and smells of fresh soil, only then can the compost be used to enrich the soil.

The use of finished compost restores soil fertility and improves the physical properties of the soil. The color of the resulting compost is then brown, the compost is crumbly with a neutral pH

How to use it?
1) Compost
Spread 100 g of accelerator on each layer of compost about 10-15 cm high (for even application, it is possible to mix the given 100 g with water and pour the area of ​​compost in this way). Dosing per layer corresponds to a dose of 100 g of accelerator per 1 m2 of compost area.
A package of 500 g is enough for about 0.5 m3 of compost.
Compost must be watered regularly because microorganisms need a moisture content of 40-60%.
After applying the accelerator, it is good to cover the compost with a thin layer of other organic material. When the compost is halved, it is ready to use.

2) Areas
Areas with sawdust or shavings for their decomposition. The recommended height of the material is 10 cm. Spread 100 g of the accelerator on the specified layer of material (for even application, it is possible to mix the given 100 g with water and pour the surface in this way). The area needs to be watered regularly.

3) Dry toilets, bio-bins, sewer manholes
It is used here to remove unpleasant odors. Dosage is 500 g per 0.5 m3.

Chemical substances (chlorine, pesticides, chemical fertilizers) significantly reduce the effectiveness of microorganisms contained in the accelerator!
