Jura Smart Claris communicates with JURA coffee machines using advanced RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to continuously collect filter usage information. This will alert the user that the filter capacity has already been exhausted. This system makes it easier to change the filter and achieve optimum efficiency. Coffee is 98% water and quality water is an important ingredient for creating good coffee. With the Jura Smart Claris filter, the water is always freshly filtered for each cup of coffee. Filter life is 2 months or 50 liters of filtered water. The Jura Claris Smart water filter can be used in the following JURA fully automatic coffee machines (I.W.S.® Intelligent Water System): Z6, E6, E8, E60, E80, E600 and E800.
