The Jura Claris Pro Smart filter removes unwanted substances from the water and protects the coffee machine from limescale. Using modern RFID technology (RFID = Radio-frequency Identification), which ensures communication with the filter, the coffee machine automatically detects the presence of the filter and its usage status. This ensures full capacity utilization of the filter as well as the exchange of information. Thanks to modern technology, the filter is easy to use. The Claris filter provides optimum protection against scale deposition. So if you use Claris filters in your coffee machine, you do not need to decalcify the coffee machine. Scale also adversely affects the quality of the coffee itself. Larger amounts of calcium carbonate give the beverage an unpleasant aftertaste and reduce the aroma of the coffee.
