Unlike conventional detectors, the advanced electrochemical sensor is designed to accurately measure low levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and provide early warning on the LCD display using a digital bar graph before an acoustic warning of a dangerous level of CO.

The carbon monoxide detector is equipped with a combined Test / Mode button, which is designed to verify the correct operation of the device and also serves to display the highest measured CO level. The detector will record the levels of the highest measured CO value that it has detected during the last 4 weeks. This information is useful if the device has detected hazardous CO values ​​during your absence.

The condition of the sensor, power supply unit and internal circuits is monitored by the automatic control system of the efficiency device. If a fault is detected, the LCD display will display information corresponding to the detected fault and a safety signal will be triggered.

The CO detector is powered by an integrated power supply unit, which is designed to provide power to the device throughout its life (7 years), taking into account intermittent alarms and device status messages. The special design allows the operation of the device without the need for a fixed anchorage and thus becomes portable with the possibility of simple and stable placement on a horizontal surface (for example, on a bedside table, shelf, etc.). Carbon monoxide is a colorless, tasteless and odorless gas produced by the poor combustion of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas, LPG, coal and wood. It can also be produced by poorly maintained or broken fuel burning appliances intended for domestic heating, such as: boilers, gas appliances, karma, grills, clogged chimneys, ventilation systems or damaged flue pipes.

Common symptoms of CO poisoning include headaches, nausea, fatigue, or muscle aches - but these can be easily confused with the diagnosis of flu.
