Konnwei KW870 is the successor of KW850 – a universal diagnostic scanner for cars with OBDII and also a battery tester for cars and motorcycles. This tool combines the functions of OBDII diagnostics and battery testing.
OBDII diagnostics functions: Konnwei KW870 supports current OBD II protocols, so it can check most cars on the market. The diagnostics are compatible with most European, Asian, American and Australian vehicles with OBDII with a 16-pin socket. It can be used for gasoline and diesel engines. It is able to clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and reset OBD II status. It can turn off the check engine light (MIL) and determine what kind of fault it is indicating. It is also able to obtain vehicle information, such as the vehicle identification number (VIN). There is also a live data transmission, within which it is able to display, for example, the current rpm, voltage, speed, or engine temperature. You can use it to check for car emissions related faults (FreezeFrame). Auto mechanics may find it useful to check I/M readiness.
Battery Test Function: Konnwei battery tester is suitable for all types of car and motorcycle batteries with voltage of 6-12V (100-2000 CCA), including classic lead-acid, AGM flat, AGM spiral and gel batteries. It uses the world's most advanced conductivity testing technology to quickly and accurately measure the actual battery cranking current, battery condition and common faults of the vehicle's starting and charging system.
The test results are displayed in both text and graph, but the real-time battery voltage is displayed in the graphical display.
