Official Camera Module for Raspberry Pi in Version 2. Raspberry Pi Camera Module can be used to shoot HD video as well as capture photos. Simplicity of use is suitable for beginners, but has much to offer to advanced users. The camera works with all Raspberry Pi models that have a CSI camera port and can be accessed using the MMAL and V4L APIs. There are also a number of unofficial libraries including the Picamara Python library. The camera module is used for example in home security or as a wildcard photopast.
