We do not recommend replacing Ni-Mh with Li-lon and vice versa. The charger on your vacuum cleaner is only adapted to the type of battery that came with your vacuum cleaner. We do not recommend using batteries with a higher capacity (over 3500 mAh), which may cause the robot to overheat. However, Ni-MH batteries have a natural voltage drop, so they need to be always under power. Therefore, the vacuum cleaner should still be on the net. The ROOMBA must always be in the Home Base or still connected to the power adapter. Failure to comply with this rule may result in irreversible damage to the battery.
