Lead-carbon batteries are a new type of lead-acid battery. In this case, with a bound, acidic electrolyte, just like the well-known AGM battery. Lead-carbon batteries have better partial discharge performance and a much longer cycle life than conventional AGM/GEL lead-acid batteries.
The negative electrode was enriched with a new material - a mixture of lead and carbon. This results in lower sulfation and longer battery life during cyclic stress.
