The MHPower MPU-300-12 backup power supply and voltage converter is ideal for long-term backup. It is an ideal device for its flexible use and robust all-metal design. The device has built-in protection against overload, both when powered from the battery and from the mains. The maximum continuous power is 300 W. In the ideal case, the appliances are powered directly from the mains and the external battery is charged. The problem occurs during a power outage. At that moment, the backup source automatically switches to the voltage converter and starts drawing energy from the battery. Appliances are powered directly from the inverter. After the power supply is restored, the source automatically switches back to the mains and starts charging the battery.

In the event of a power failure (or if its parameters are not within the normal range), the backup power supply (UPS) automatically switches to the battery. This switch will be shown on the display of the backup power supply (UPS) and will also notify you of this step with a sound signal. Warning: the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) only works when connected to an external battery and should not be used without this connection. After connecting the battery, plug the main supply cable into the mains socket (230 V, 50 Hz) with grounding. From the back of the power supply, connect a device that will work in the event of a power failure. Proceed as follows: connect the battery, then the mains, and then connect the appliance to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). To turn on or off the AC load (appliance outlet), press and hold the power button (ON / OFF) for about 2 seconds.

Overload protection:

- Battery powered: in the event of an overload of 110 - 130% power, the output will be switched off within 30 seconds. If the overload is greater than 130%, the output power will be interrupted immediately
- Mains power: the device warns against overload until the fuse is blown

- A backup power supply (UPS) with a 120 Ah battery will work for 6.5 hours.
- A backup power supply (UPS) with a 150 Ah battery will work for 8 hours.

For 200W consumption:

- A backup power supply (UPS) with a 65 Ah battery will work for 2 hours.
- A backup power supply (UPS) with a 120 Ah battery will work for 3 hours.
- A backup power supply (UPS) with a 150 Ah battery will work for 4 hours.

For 300W consumption:
