This product belongs to a group of professional automatic uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) specially designed and manufactured for the continuous supply of solid fuel boilers in the event of a mains power failure. In the event of a power failure, the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) will provide immediate battery power so that the circulators will keep running and the boiler will cool down safely.
This backup power supply can be used to run other electrical appliances that require stability and stable power parameters. This product should not be used as a converter.
The main feature of this device is the input power curve when running on battery. The curve is a pure sine wave, identical to the main power supply in your house. When the main power of your house is turned on, the backup power supply will charge the battery and ensure long battery life. The uninterruptible power supply (UPS) only works with an external 12V battery (for the 1050 W model with a 24V battery). Only a lead type battery should be used, as the backup power supply is designed to charge this type of battery.
ATTENTION! Be careful when handling the battery. When connecting the backup power supply, remove metal objects (eg bracelets, chains, watches, rings ... etc.). Due to the fact that there may be a short circuit of electric current and subsequent distribution of metallic materials on the consumer's body. Observe the polarity when connecting the battery: the red (+ positive) cable will be connected to the + terminal and the black (-negative) cable will be connected to the - terminal. Metal connectors are used to connect the cable to the battery terminals. It is recommended to clean the battery contacts with a brush before connecting. Tighten the connector with a wrench to ensure a firm contact.
Install the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in a dry place, free of moisture, away from water or snow. The installation location of the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) must be large enough not to obstruct the cooling system of the uninterruptible power supply. In addition, this area should be free of dust or coal dust that could block the backup power supply fan. The installation site should be well ventilated to prevent the system from overheating. To reduce the risk of electric shock, make sure all cables are in good condition and free of uninsulated parts. Operation of the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can cause sparks. The backup power supply should not be installed in flammable environments.
ATTENTION! The uninterruptible power supply (UPS) only works when it is connected to an external battery. It should not be used without a battery connection. After connecting the battery, plug the mains cable into a mains socket (230V, 50 Hz). Connect the device on the back of the power supply that you want to operate in the event of a power failure. Follow these steps: connect the battery, connect the main power, and then connect the consumer (device) to the uninterruptible power supply (UPS). To turn on the power, press and hold the power (ON / OFF) button for 4 seconds.
System operation begins with automatic detection of mains battery status. If the battery voltage drops below 10.8V, it is possible that the battery is damaged and cannot be started.
In the event of a power failure or if its parameters are not within the normal range, the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) will automatically switch to the battery. Switching the backup power supply to the battery appears on the backup power supply (UPS) display. The device (UPS) also announces the switching of the backup power supply (UPS) to the battery by an audible signal.
When the battery voltage drops below the minimum value (the battery is discharged), the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) increases the frequency of the warning sound and disconnects the power supply.
If the equipment connected to the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) exceeds the maximum power by 110%, the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) will start to emit an intermittent acoustic signal and will automatically switch off. For induction equipment (eg water pumps and electric motors) it is recommended to use equipment up to 50% of the maximum power from the uninterruptible power supply (UPS), as induction equipment may need double the power value at start-up.
ATTENTION! Danger! Do not touch the battery terminals during operation.
To stop the uninterruptible power supply (UPS), hold down the ON / OFF button for 4 seconds. The backup source then beeps and stops. To prolong battery life, it is recommended that you run an empty and full battery at least once every 2 months. Perform this operation

In this case, the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) solves this problem by supplying 110% of its capacity. It shuts down when capacity is delivered.
High charging current: the initial charging current is about 10A. Charges the battery in less time than conventional chargers.
Keeping the battery in standby mode: When the battery is fully charged, the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) keeps the battery charged. For optimal results, the battery must have a capacity in the range of: 40 Ah -190 Ah. Do not use a battery with a capacity of less than 40Ah, as the initial charging current of the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) (up to 10A) may reduce the service life
