Picocom amplifier ref 560542 from TELEVES, S.A. can be used as a small home amplifier or as an amplifier for boosting VHF / UHF signals in residential wiring. Its basic advantage is the automatic adjustment that prevents the amplifier from over-exciting. The amplifier is not equipped with any manual control element. The setting is taken care of by the AGC, which has two functions. It prevents the amplifier from overexciting (it sets the maximum output level according to the number of tuned channels) while maintaining the set output level (if the input signal has a sufficient level). The automatically set amplifier output level is determined by the number of amplified channels and the maximum amplifier gain (20 dB in the UHF band and 10 dB in the VHF band).
