Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate form a natural part of articular cartilage and synovial fluid. Chondroitin sulfate has a remarkable ability to bind water in the tissue. This ensures proper cartilage function, firmness, elasticity and resistance. The mechanism of action of both these substances is common and consists in chondroprotective (cartilage-protecting) action. The effect includes the regeneration of articular cartilage and tissues, improved mobility, and thus significantly positively affects the health condition of the animal. Methylsulfonylmethane - MSM - is a natural substance containing organically bound sulfur, which is involved in the process of collagen formation, strengthens ligaments and tendons, has a relaxing and regenerative effect on muscles. MSM is involved not only in reducing joint pain, but also due to its antioxidant and detoxifying effects, in destroying damaged tissue. MSM should also be used to control pain in post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, where better wound healing has been found. MSM has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, vasodilatory and anti-oedematous effects. It can also be used to remove muscle pain, muscle spasms and tendon pain.

Hydrolyzed COLLYSS ™ and CARTIDYSS ™ collagens:

COLLYSS ™ - the highest quality collagen type I - occurs in heavily loaded structures such as tendons and fibrous cartilage. It is tensile and therefore very important for the strength of the tendons and thus for strengthening the musculoskeletal system. This collagen also occurs in bones and skin. Type I COLLYSS ™ Collagen is a patented purified collagen hydrolyzate obtained from the cartilage of marine fish.

CARTIDYSS ™ - Collagen Type II of the highest quality - maintains the shape of the cartilage and prevents it from deforming. Type II collagen is part of hyaline and elastic cartilage and is resistant to compression. CARTIDYSS ™ is a purified collagen hydrolyzate derived from stingray cartilage.

Method of use:

The powder may be administered with a piece of food, mixed into the kernel or molasses, or administered directly into the mouth. The animals usually receive the product without problems.
