Who we are and what we do
Welcome to TIPA, spol. sr.o. website! We are experts in electronics, home products and everything associated with it. We specialize in wholesale and retail sales as well as the operation of an E-shop. We specialize in satellites, antennas, sound and soldering equipment, electrical components, cables, meters, detectors, LED bulbs, LED strips, connectors, tools, magnifiers, thermometers and weather stations, mobile phones, consumer electronics and many other products. We must also mention GoSAT satellite receivers and MOTOMA batteries. Our Gosat receiver dominated the prestigious competition Product of the Year 2015.
Beginnings and present
This year our company will celebrate our 25th Anniversary. It was founded in the early nineties. One of the founders was also Jiří Pavlík, who is currently the owner and the director. Although he started from scratch, during two decades alongside other colleagues, he created a company that is one of the top in its field on the Czech and Slovak market. Jiří Pavlík used to work for Opava´s television servis company called Silesia, which ceased trading. People who worked there were suddenly jobless and had to find work again. Most of them carried on repairing electronics in the newly found company TIPA. Life in the new company brought a variety of options and also influenced the direction in which our company continued to move on to. Besides servicing of electronics, sales became a priority. However, we still service everything that we import, for example mobile phones, satellite boxes GoSAT etc. We also provide Car control mounting or reconditioning of batteries.
Since the formation of our company nearly a quarter of a century ago, we worked ourselves to turnover of over 300 million CZK a year and in 6 establishments, we employ 71 people. We are not represented only in the Czech Republic but also in Slovakia. Headquarters is situated on Sadova street in Opava. Also one of our shops is situated here. Up until 1993, our headquarters was situated in Opava´s Lower Square, but for capacity reasons a year later the company moved to Sadova street. We want our customers to have a pleasant shopping experience. And for this reason we are always reconstructing and building new facilities. Our most valuable assets are our hardworking employees. They are involved in a complex education project which is funded by the European Social Fund.

Amongst the public, TIPA company is known primarily as a retail shop and internet vendor. Most sales are made through our e-shop:www.tipa.eu. Right here you can choose the form of delivery – if you want your order to be delivered via Czech Post, DPD or if you want to pick it up in another city, in any of our various vending locations. As mentioned above, our aim is to make sure our clients receive the maximum comfort and quality services. Therefore, goods that are in stock and are ordered before 11.00 am, can be delivered the next working day (Czech Republic only).

Support of youth
Students have been a part of our company for more then fifteen years. They are involved in the development of DIY kits and provide necessary feedback which helps us to communicate better, both with the public and with our customers. We also run an Electronics Club. Moreover, we try to support the young students too. That was also the reason why in 2015 we organized the first annual competition called THE MISTERY OF ELECTRON. Students had to create and build various products. We believe it will become a tradition. With this competition we tried to raise awareness of the electrotechnical field.
